HE RAN IT UNTIL JUNE 2002 WHEN IT WAS TAKEN OVER BY RICHARD POULAIN, THE THEN CLUB FOOTBALL SECRETARY. WHEN RICHARD LEFT THE CLUB IN DECEMBER 2002 THE WEBSITE RAN INTO UPDATING PROBLEMS. I FINALLY GOT TO GRIPS WITH IT IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2003 AFTER DISCUSSION WITH RICHARD AND A FORTUNATE MEETING WITH IAN AT WITTON ALBION. I HOPE I HAVE DONE JUSTICE TO IT SINCE THEN STATTO

Excellent site, While I'm only 16 and never been to
England I am an avid fan of Halifax
Town, however with the success of another West Yorkshire club (Emley of Course), I have
began following Emley's results on the web, it has been a great season for Emley, except
for that little altercation between your players at the McAlpine at the end of last year
in the Sheffield cup. Good Luck to Emley next year. John Buckley <buck@uq.net.au>

Very good web site - ideal for all Emley's long distance
fans to follow the club's progress. Kevin Scargill <kscargill@dera.gov.uk> |

WOW...It's been a while since I moved away from my beloved Huddersfield. I've followed Town over the Net, and now, unbelievable, I can do the same with Emley. All the best for the current season. Jay <jason.blezard@dcla.co.uk> |

You are a very good side. I thought Ian Banks was 50. Didn't he play for Barnsley in their promotion season from div 4 to 3? good luck Craig - Whitby Town FC <craigjames@csi.com> |

Very professional site. Missing watching Emley since I
moved over here in February. Still, I'll be back for a
fortnight at Christmas so should see a few games. I also
had it written into my contract that should Emley reach the
FA CUP first round proper I can take time off from work to fly back for the games. Hopefully I'll be back in England
plenty of times! Paul McDermott <100022.3663@compuserve.com> |

What a delight to see the Emley website, introduced to me by fellow Rastrickian (Brighouse) Matt Grandage in Singapore. As president of the Yokohama Branch (Unofficial) of the HTFC Supporters Club (sole member at the moment) it is good to spread the delights of the game in these exotic parts. Emley stands for all that's no nonsense in a world of glamour and Spin Doctors. Good Show. Keep it up. PJ Peter Jackson <pjackson99@hotmail.com> |

Good luck in the FA Cup. We're still paying for last year's run! The Moorhouse Mascots |

I have just finished telling Calum my five year old son about the eight excellent years
I spent at the Welfare Ground. He was really impressed when he realised you are on the
net. LEE BURROWS <LACBURROWS@AOL.COM.UK> |

Saw Emley at Worksop against my team the Tigers and was very impressed with the team. No doubt you will finish second behind Worksop but the best of luck for the rest of the season. Mark Batty <M.BATTY@BGC.AC.UK> |

Pleased to see Emley on the net and nice to know I can follow them even though I'm no longer in the village. Fingers crossed for the Marine game tonight. Adam Doyle <doyleadam@hotmail.com> |

What?! How come a piddly team like Emley has its own
official website, whereas my club, the MIGHTY ..er..Halifax
Town doesn't? Anyway, I follow any clubs from Yorkshire. We should break away from the rest of England and form our own
nation. One up the Tudors, eh? Matthew Dean <truebrit@freemail.nl> |

Congratulations on making the F.A. Cup First Round. My name is Tim Shaw and I am the joint web-author of the Official Rotherham United F.C. Website. I've seen that Neil has already signed the Guestbook, and I hope that you have chance to look at our official site and his unofficial, but still great, Millers On-Line. Please feel free to add a comment on the site to our guestbook, and look around the site. It would also be good if you could e-mail some details about team news for Emley before the game on the 14th November to put on the site, such as injuries suspensions, and new signings. Thanks from Rotherham! Tim Shaw <Tim@themillers.co.uk> |

Starting to get a bit expensive now, but who cares - well done. Martin Wharam. <martin.wharam@freeserve.co.uk> |

Jo Hyde Just Surfed On In Barnsley Hi I'm Matthew Higginbottoms' girlfriend (football
widow) and I would just like to say how much I enjoy watching Emley whether it be the first team, reserves or the under 19's.I must admit it's best when we win because Matt comes home in a good mood, and just incase you were wondering where he gets his fiery temper from, I have no idea.

Jo Hyde Higgys missus Barnsley I would just like to comment on Knowlseys previous message. Personally, I don't think that he's that MINT!!!.My bloke's better. I think Higgy should be in the first team more often because he's an 'outstanding player' (£5 for saying that!!! - joke). Anyway, how many times has Knowlsey changed the colour of his hair in the past few months??? |

Mark Wilbraham Littleborough I am a Rochdale fan, but have visited Emley for a number of Monday night matches with a friend from Littleborough, Trevor Armitage. It could have been an ideal cup tie on Saturday if Emley had got past Rotherham, but there's always next year. Keep up the good work and here's to some more interesting Monday night trips to the Welfare Ground. Also if anybody is interested, I wrote a report for Rochdale's programme on Saturday on the Emley v Rotherham game at Oakwell. We have around 300 left at Spotland - send cheques for £2.00 for your copy. |

IF YOU WANT TO WIN SOMETHING GET RID OF JONAH HE'S A PISS-HEAD ANYWAY. BANKSY'S ON DRUGS. Cheltenham Forever Cheltenhamshire Love the description of Cheltenham in your news section! I hope you post details of ticket allocations etc. in good time so that we can all make the necessary arrangements to get to you. It would be good to know about good pubs, chippies etc. if anyone can pass that on to the waiting masses. I seem to remember from last season's cup exploits that you were described as having the highest ground in England, or something like that, so presumably we should wear warm clothing! Looking forward to a Conference and Trophy Double! |
