Terry Coles was the Swans supporter who died tragically at the championship game between the Swans and Rotherham. A true football fan, devoted to his Swans, he left a widow and two young children. Swansea City Football Club, in co-operation with several of Terry Coles' friends, have opened a fund for his children and widow. At the moment, funds are being gathered while details of a properly-constituted trust, with trustees and objects, are being addressed. If you want to make a contribution -- personally, or as the result of a fund-raising effort -- you may make your cheque payable to: "SCFC -- Terry Coles Fund," marking it to Sort Code 16-33-09, Account #10052640. The account is being held at The Royal Bank of Scotland, 13/14 Walter Road, Swansea SA1 3NG. The bank asks that you send your contribution to: The Terry Coles Fund Swansea City AFC Vetch Field Swansea SA1 3SU Thank you!

I am an Ayr United supporter and iam just pleased with the two players that you sent up to us,(Glynn Hurst and Mickey Reynolds). Although there`s alot of talk about Mickey signing for Chesterfield and Glynn also looked to be moving on last season when he put in a transfer request half way through last season but managed to sort things out with Dalziel. Good work Ronnie did last season for you and I hope you can keep it up!!

I was just checking on the the current goings on at my old haunt when I came across something that read "captain Simon Jones" tell this is not so, tell me that Jonah the Gingerzinio is not the inspirational leader of my favouite non league team. This is very disturbing and must be remodied at once.

Not a bad site, and from what I can gather, you've a good team as well. What IS happening with the ground, though? If you win the championship - and it looks as though you will - is promotion a real possibility? I hope so... Anyway, I'm not actually a supporter, but maybe I'll see you before the end of the season. Keep up the good work.

I just watched your team totally out class us today at Llanelian rd on a pudding of a pitch 4-0 was a fair result although your keeper made two outstanding saves in the second half. It was a very good team performance from your side and you should make it to the conference next season. We are struggling at the present time financially and we have not won a game since last October after lying 6th in the division at that time so I hope we survive in the Unibond premier. Just to rub salt in the wound S4C Television are showing the highlights tommorrow afternoon first time the cameras have visited our ground obviously to see how good you are you did not let them down your first goal was a cracker by your no 3.

I am currently captain of the under 19's at Emley and i would like to say on behalf of the lads keep it going your nearly there,You can do it. The other point is though whilst the first team have been doing really well nobody seems to be taking any interest in how we are doing its time for people to realise were top of the league too u know in a much stronger position than the first team.So get yourself up to the real home of Emley the Welfare Ground and cheer us on to glory.

Hi there. Some of you might know me from the coach - most of you probably wont. I have been an avid Emley fan since the age of 12, home and away every saturday but unfortunately my uni commitments (see: drinking, kebabs, studying - in that order) prevent me from watching them as often as i would like. Saw a couple of games over xmas (Lancaster & Gainsboro') but i cant make it to the Yeovil game so i'm a bit pissed off. I know we've got the forwards to hurt them so get behind them and let them know you're there. the ground may even look half full for once!

Enjoyed looking at the site, shame Yeovil were just too clinical .As a former mascot, ballboy ,dressing room sweeper, assistant groundsman, supporter and player its good to see the club doing well despite having some of the heart removed .Great to see some of my heros still involved Daryl, Brammer and Ray Dennis the best keeper since G.Banks. All the best for the future hope success comes your way ,mind you with your wage bill you should be demanding it ,Ironic really I play in the National lge here in N.Z. in front of bigger crowds than they get down at belle vue and we have to find our own player sponsers or pay subscriptions ,at least it creates loyalty and a great team spirit something that always made Emley A.F.C. a special place .Regards to all ,Jimmy Pamment

I Live in York and have been a regular attender to Emley for a handful of games a season ever since 1987. Have been there for the great occasions such as the victories against Telford, Kettering and Northwich as well as the defeat against Bolton at Leeds Road. I know that a lot of Emley supporters were unhappy about the move to Wakefield but this is the best season for many a long year and the timing of the move was perfect Playing opposition such as the Yeovil team last Saturday every week will be reward enough and the gates are at last showing the right trend. 1800 was a sight to behold. Yeovil showed the gap on the field is widening between the top non-league sides and the rest but lessons can be learned from this game for next season (such as closing down further from goal!!) Good luck for the rest of the season and I am looking forward to Conference football at Emley next season (against York maybe?)

We deserve to win to today. Despite you took the lead we were always the best team. You weren't playing your best side. None of the players in the programme were playing. Where was Bambrook? Injured, suspended? Nazha was only a sub but Smith and the black number 8 were better than Nazha. Jamie Robdhaw or "Gingernut" is a filth so and so. Wilson hacked tose too fast for him and Bradshaw nunber 5 "Bamby" could have cored with a good header. Credit to you. You battled at the end. Hope those who travelled up had a good day. Good luck in t' title race but you're just not good enough. Stalybridge will go up. Robshaw,Taylor,Tons were awfull.

Hi all. I'm a Rochdale supporter who has developed a soft spot for Emley thanks to a friend of mine. I went to Hyde tonight (He didn't - part-timer) and really enjoyed the game. Emley deserved to win at the end of the day, and the second goal was a cracking strike from the edge of the box. So go on Emley - get into the Conference, and take 6 points off Chester. (Managed by former Dale boss Graham Barrow. aka TOSSPOT) All the best

Good site - lots of content, but perhaps a bit drab visually. As a Stalybridge fan, amused to see your obsession with our results in the reports section, but I think we're all a little nervous. It's a damn shame that whoever ends up top would have run away with it any other season. Up the 'Bridge

Great match today lads but Bridge shaded it. As a Man City fan the two games between Staly & Emley were the most enjoyable games of the season for me. Good luck next season.

Having been a neutral at yesterday's game, basically because my dad and me were at a loose end in Yorkshire, we decided to see the game. We were delighted at the quality of football played and the atmosphere created by the large crowd. I was very impressed with the facilities at the Belle Vue ground and would definitely visit again. Just a shame the cheerleaders aren't very co-ordinated with each other, but I'm sure that can be worked on!

Comments: Unluck Emley. I was watching on teletext and when it said Droysden 0-1 S'bridge I thought poor Emley. It must be gutting. Still an incredible season few people thought Emley would be up there for the title. Marine, Hyde and Gateshead who have all been awfull were favourites to win. Why int Charlie Bradshaw playing he's good?
