Leave West Yorkshire by the M 1 / A 1 link road.
Continue north on the A1 (M) to Newcastle.
Follow the A 1 to the west of Newcastle, passing the Metro Centre.
Leave the A 1 at Seaton Burn (signposted the A 19) and at the roundabout take the second turn off (signposted the  A 1068).
At the next roundabout, take the first turnoff to pass Merck Sharp & Dohme on the left. (signposted the A 192)
Go straight ahead at the next roundabout, staying on the A 192.
At Hartford Bridge take the A 1068 Hartford Road to Bedlington.
At the first roundabout outside the Red Lion pub, take the third turning into Front Street.
Turn left at the Northumberland Arms.
Take the 2^nd right turn.
Ground is 100 yards on the right.

               Official Directions:         

          Take M1 North from West Yorkshire on the  M1 – A1 link road to join the A1 (M)  North
               Stay on the A 1 (M) North passing Wetherby, Scotch Corner and Durham. 
               From the A1 (M), take the exit for Chester-le-Street.
               This brings you to a large roundabout.
               Follow the signs for the A167 and continue on the A167 for approximately 2 miles (towards Durham).
               Keep looking for a pub called the Chester Moor.
               Turn in towards the Chester Moor and our ground is adjacent to the pub.

Continue north on the A1 (M) and exit at Junction 59 and take A 167 Newton Aycliffe road.
Follow A 167 through Aycliffe, Chilton and Ferryhill. 
At Thinford roundabout turn left onto A 688.
Go straight over mini-roundabout and at next roundabout take 3rd exit. (St Andrews Church opposite).
Keep left at next roundabout to Town Centre.
Go straight over mini roundabout onto Durham Road past the Salvin Arms pub.
Ground is 200 yards on the left

Nearest railway stations are at Durham and Bishop Auckland  - then you need a bus to Spennymoor.
