My Directions:

These are the least complicated directions:

Take M 62 West from Huddersfield, straight ahead on M 60 at Junction 18. 
Keep on M 60 until you reach Junction 5. 
Leave M 60 and join M 56 – signed North Wales, Chester. 
Continue past Manchester Airport (ignore Altrincham signs) until you reach Junction 6. 
Turn off M 56 and follow signs for Hale Barns A 538.
Pass through Hale Barns.
Go straight on at traffic lights (junction with A 5144 is the right turn at these lights) and take third road on right (Westminster Road).
Continue straight on for half a mile or so, down a slight hill with speed humps, to Moss Lane.
Ground is on the right.

Alternative 1:  
Is to leave M 62 at Junction 18 and take M 60 via East Manchester, Stockport etc to Junction 4
Follow M 56 signs for North Wales, Chester etc. 
Leave M 56 at Junction 6 and follow as above  

Alternative 2:  You can go via the A 628 Woodhead Pass but long queues are usually encountered on
the approach to the M 67. 
Take M 67 and follow signs for Manchester Airport, joining M 60.
Leave M 60 at Junction 4 – to join M 56 then follow as above  

Alternative 3: Holmfirth and take A 635 over the moors to Greenfield. 
Take A 635 to Mossley and onto Stalybridge.
Turn right to Ashton. Keep on A 635 round Ashton bypass (dual carriageway) and follow signs
for M 60. (There is a tricky roundabout at the end of the by pass) 
Take A 635 towards Manchester and then join M 60 signposted Stockport.
Leave at Junction 4 – to join M 56 then follow as above  

There is a railway station in Altrincham but not sure of distance to ground - although should be an easy walk.

My Directions:

Take M 62 West from Huddersfield and leave M 62 at Junction 18 to take M 60 (East Manchester).
Leave M 60 at Junction 23 and follow signs A 635 towards Manchester (1.5 miles to ground).

After retail park on left, take centre lane and turn right at traffic lights onto A 662 signed Droylsden.
Get into left hand lane and turn left after 100 yards at traffic lights. In half mile turn right at traffic lights in town centre.
Entrance to ground is 75 yards on left. 
Side street parking just after ground on right hand side.    

Nearest Railway station is Fairfield - a good mile from the ground

Alternative: Leave Holmfirth and take A 635 over the moors to Greenfield.
Take A 635 to Mossley and onto Stalybridge.
Turn right and keep on A 635 round Ashton bypass (dual carriageway) and follow signs for M 60.

Cross over M 60 remaining on A 635. After retail park follow directions as above.  

Ground: Throstle Nest, Newlands, Farsley, Leeds Tel: 0113 255 7292

Take the M 62 East to Junction 26, then exit onto the M 606
At the roundabout at the end of the M 606 take the A 6177 ring road towards Dudley Hill (a left turn).
Continue on the A 6177 until you reach a right turn onto the A 647 signposted Leeds.
At the 2^nd roundabout (at Junction with the Leeds Ring Road) take the
2^nd exit onto the B 6157 to Stanningley.
Continue for 800 yards passing Police and Fire Station on the left to the Tradex Warehouse.
Follow the signpost to Farsley Celtic by turning left down New Street to Newlands (400 yards).
Turn right on Newlands, ground is at far end. (ground signposted)  

Ground 1 mile from New Pudsey Railway station
